You caught this moment perfectly and that poignant desire to keep the babies always safe even though you know growing up will involve lots of bumps.CSPetersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16346186856994152730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-246092514776477830.post-49759800881028954662011-03-23T16:44:28.108-07:002011-03-23T16:44:28.108-07:00I felt like I was there with you. Don't you wish we could protect them forever!Lynnellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06288703940339608512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-246092514776477830.post-86379285651857848852011-03-23T16:08:49.646-07:002011-03-23T16:08:49.646-07:00You really 'poured' this out, so it is eas...You really 'poured' this out, so it is easy to tell it was an upsetting time, often for mothers when that scream happens, or you see something about to go wrong & you just can't get there. These are the times that put the grey hairs in, as they say, I guess. I don't know about the hamster balls, they don't make them big enough. Your final lines are poignant-every mother's wish said well.Linda Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14983144542632353870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-246092514776477830.post-59641845326376496702011-03-23T12:14:13.182-07:002011-03-23T12:14:13.182-07:00Oh goodness. I'm sure it will be forgotten for them in a day or two (minus the obvious bumb) but I know for you it will be lodged away as another reason why children should be in hamster balls until they are old enough (whatever age that would be). You are so right about specific screams or noises to indicate more is wrong. I was that way with my brothers as they were growing up. It's hard to not try to protect them from everything.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12888057097577844751noreply@blogger.com
